“The Singapore Indian Education Trust will be presenting Achievement Awards amounting to $75,000 to 53 post-secondary students (17 from Universities,10 from Polytechnics, 21 from ITEs and 5 from Junior Colleges). The students were selected by a panel made of academics, professionals and members of the business community.The Trust introduced the Achievement Awards in 2005 to recognize and motivate Indian students who have demonstrated academic excellence as well as active involvement in co-curricular and community related activities that sets them apart as role models for their peers.
