NUS Tamil Language Society Study Loan

SIET Undergraduate Study Loan Students who have performed well in either GCE "A" or Polytechnic examinations to gain entry into a local university (National University of Singapore/Nanyang Technological University/Singapore Management University) will be eligible. This is to supplement loans which university students are eligible for and open to students who have already taken study loans from the university but still need additional financial assistance for living expenses. The additional quantum is intended to allow these students to concentrate on their studies.

Course
A full time Undergraduate course in any discipline

Applicants must meet the following criteria
	Singapore Citizens of Indian descent
	Needy and Deserving with good grades
	Must have a letter of acceptance from one of the local universities (National University of Singapore/Nanyang Technological University/Singapore Management University).
	Have two sureties that meet approval of panel ( minimum income of surety : S$2,500 per month).
	Active CCA record and participation in community work is an advantage.
	Must give an undertaking to help SIET in community work and future projects.

	$2,500/-
	Study Loan repayment to begin within seven months of completion of course of study/full time National service. Loan repayment period will be up to 3 years following which interest at prime will be charged for quantum which remains unpaid.

Any course in a foreign university that operates in Singapore that has an extension of their present discipline.

Applicants must meet the following criteria
	Singapore Citizens of Indian descent
	Must have a letter of acceptance from the institution
	Subject to employability prospects upon graduation
	Must have completed at least First year of degree program.
	Good grades.
	Active CCA record and participation in community work is an advantage
	Must give an undertaking to help SIET in their community work and in its future projects
	Have two sureties that meet approval of panel.( minimum income of surety : S$2,500 per month).

	$5,000/-
