SIET Achievement Awards for Junior College, ITE, Polytechnic and University Students
This is to recognise and spur Indian students to excel in both their academic and co-curricular activities and to encourage then to further serve the community.
| Applicants must meet the following criteria: |

Applicants must be Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents of Indian descent |
 |
Completed at least one year in the institution with excellent academic results |
 |
Outstanding CCA records and involvement in community work |
 |
Recipients of the Award are to give an undertaking to SIET to help with our future projects and community work.

The Trust is inviting Indian Singaporeans currently studying at ITEs, Junior Colleges, Polytechnics and Universities to apply for the prestigious SIET Achievement Awards which are awarded annually to students who have the inclination to serve the community and have done very well in their course of study.
Registrations are opening from Monday, 1st March 2010.Closing date for applications is Saturday, 22nd May 2010. Short listed candidates will be invited for an interview and those selected will receive their awards at an awards presentation ceremony on Saturday, 24th July 2010.

These awards are awarded to students who aspire to achieve excellence in Arts, Music and Sports through the pursuit of a formal course of study in a reputable institution.
There are awards available for students who have excelled at the Singapore Sports School and the Singapore School of the Arts.

G Sarangapany Education Trust Fund Fellowship Awards in Journalism/Media Studies
To encourage talented individuals to develop themselves further and contribute in the field of Journalism /Media. The fellowship will be open to those who are presently working in the field of journalism and the mass media as well as to serving teachers who wish to contribute in these areas
Course A local or overseas post –graduate course in any area of Journalism/Media that will benefit the local Tamil media industry.
